Role Summary
Amazon is seeking an experienced and data-driven Program Manager to join its Selling Partner Support team under the Global Process Management (GPM) vertical. This role focuses on enhancing seller support experiences and delivering improvements that reduce inbound contacts while increasing operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will have strong stakeholder management skills, hands-on experience with SQL and Excel, and a deep understanding of program delivery in complex environments.
As a Program Manager, you will play a pivotal role in designing, launching, and improving systems that support millions of third-party sellers across the globe. You will work cross-functionally with operations, product, training, engineering, and other business units to create scalable and data-backed solutions. You are expected to identify key pain points, champion seller experience, and deliver results aligned with Amazon’s leadership principles.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end program management for support initiatives that reduce seller contact rates and improve satisfaction metrics.
- Act as a bridge between business stakeholders and Seller Support Operations to translate strategic goals into actionable plans.
- Design and implement standard operating procedures and process flows that align with global support frameworks.
- Use data analysis to monitor performance, identify areas of improvement, and recommend innovative solutions.
- Collaborate with software development teams, product managers, and data analysts to integrate technology and automation into support operations.
- Prepare regular reports and dashboards to update senior leadership on program status, metrics, risks, and timelines.
- Train and mentor new program coordinators or analysts as part of knowledge transfer.
- Maintain up-to-date documentation of all processes, SOPs, and tools for audit and continuity purposes.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in program or project management.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel (including pivot tables and VLOOKUP).
- Working knowledge of SQL to extract and manipulate data.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to drive decisions using data.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders simultaneously.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree (MBA or relevant field) is a plus.
- 5+ years of experience in a fast-paced, high-impact environment such as e-commerce or customer support.
- Familiarity with Lean, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologies.
